On peut déterminer combien

d'amoureux a une personne, et

quelle distance les sépare/

You can determine the number

 of sweathearts, another person

has, and how far away they are.

 

 

A. Mettre la ficelle en boucle

sur G1 et G5./

Put a double string on L1 and L5.

 

Frapper quatre fois la

personne sur la tête, avec la

ficelle en boucle./ Hit the person

four times on the head with the string.

 

 

B. G3 prend par en-bas

la ficelle palmaire G.

L3 picks up the L palmar string.

 

C. La main D entre par en-bas

dans la boucle pendante,

et D2 agrippe par en-haut la

ficelle palmaire G2, tandis

que D4 agrippe par en-haut

la ficelle palmaire G4.

Etendre.

The R hand enters from below

into the pending loop. Then with R2

hooks down the L2 palmar string,

and R4 hooks down the L4 palmar

string. And pull out.

 

D. Puis D2 et D4 font passer

ces boucles par-dessus la

main G, en mettant la

boucle D2 sur G2 et, la

boucle D4 sur G4.

Then D2 and D4 pass their

 loops over the L hand,

putting the R2 loop on L2,

and R4 loop on L4.

 

E. Regardez la paume de

votre main G.

D2 agrippe par en-haut

saisissent la ficelle

palmaire G3, et la tire

vers le bas, doucement.

Look the L hand palmar.

R2 hooks down the L3 palmar

string, and pull out slowly.

 

F. Entortiller la boucle de

la main droite, en tournant D2

plusieurs fois à droite.

R2 gives several twists to this loop.

 

G. La mettre sur la paume G

et refermer la main G dessus.

Close strings in the L hand.

 

Frotter la tête et le coeur de la

personne avec cette main.

Rub with this hand the head

and the heart of the person.

 

H. Regardez le dos de votre main G.

Look your L hand's back

 

I. Avec la main droite, tirer les

boucles inférieures, de chaque doigt.

With the R hand pull up the

lower loops of each finger.

 

J. Chaque doigt de la main D

entre par en-haut dans la boucle

tirée correspondante.

Then enter

these loops with the

corresponding R finger.

 

K. Séparer les mains, doucement.

Chaque doigt doit se retrouver

avec une seule boucle.

Etendre.

Separate the hand, slowly.

Each finger need to have a single loop.

 

Comptez le nombre d'amoureux:

Un amoureux c'est une ficelle qui court

tout droit d'une main à l'autre,

et sa distance du pouce, indique la

distance qui sépare les amoureux.

Count the number of sweathearts:

A sweatheart is a string running

straight from one hand to the other.

And its distance from the thumb,

indicates, the distance to the

other person.
